Who is responsible

The data controller is the owner of the Anna Vlora apartment, Radhimë, Vlorë, Albania. For anything about your data write to kontakt@annavlora.com.

What we collect

We ask you for nothing on this site. There is no contact form and no user account.

Once you agree, Google Analytics 4 records anonymous statistics: approximate location at country and city level, device and browser type, language, where you arrived from, which pages you visit and for how long. Your IP address is truncated before it reaches the reports, so it does not identify a particular connection.

Cookies

Until you click accept, nothing is stored on your device. The site runs entirely without cookies in that state.

One thing we always remember is the choice you made in the banner. It sits in your browser local storage, it is not a cookie and it is never sent anywhere. It is what stops us asking on every visit. After a year we ask again.

Once you agree, Google sets its own _ga and _ga_* cookies, which expire after two years.

Legal basis and retention

Statistics are processed solely on the basis of your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time, and doing so does not affect what happened before.

Data in Google Analytics is kept for fourteen months, after which Google deletes it.

Who receives the data

Statistics are processed on our behalf by Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area to the United States, on the basis of the European Commission adequacy decision under the Data Privacy Framework.

The site itself runs on a server in Germany. We do not sell data to anyone and we run no tracking advertising.

Booking happens elsewhere

The calendar and payments live on Airbnb and Booking.com. When you press a booking button you move to that service, which has its own privacy policy and is responsible for whatever you enter there. All we see is what the service passes to the host after a completed booking: the guest name, the dates and the number of people.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased or its processing restricted, and the right to object and to data portability. Writing to the address above is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country.

Changing your mind

You can change the statistics decision at any time, in either direction.
